Sean Wallis was like Nick Jerwood, winning most heats and taking the day
The beautiful weather of 28°C with S to SW 8-16 kts forecasted brought out 15 sailors. The lake is back to full capacity after the broken pipes were repaired and the water level is back.
The course was set up off the jetty and set a very interesting start line. After a few races, the wind changed direction and caused some action on the start line. We managed 13 races with Sean Wallis winning 9, Kim Klaka 2, Ian Sherriff 1 and Mark Lovelady 1. Hence Sean won the day easily followed by Mark Lovelady, Kim Klaka and Graeme Elliott all within 3 points of each other. Great close racing by these guys.
Phil unfortunately had boat issues and took on the role of RO from race 9, thanks Phil.
Thanks to all helpers on the day setting up and packing up it is much appreciated.
