The Sherriff reigned supreme, as all sheriffs should
On arrival at the lake the first thing we noticed was the water level being very low, so low we had to sail from the jetty to be able to launch the yachts.
With the wind from the south south west it created a very interesting start line. As usual the wind was swirling and flicking all over the place especially on the start line and top mark causing contacts between boats and penalties having to be done.
The breeze strength was between 8-15 kts and tested all with Ian Sherriff showing us all the way to sail consistently winning the day closely followed by Jason Poutsma and Mark Lovelady coming in a creditable 3rd.
Thanks to all again with the help to set up and pack up and Kev for being race officer from race 4 .
We managed 13 races today with 13 starters, unfortunately by race 13 we only had 8 boats.
